loft con modeling 17.0

hi to all,I have always used inventor and solid works in the 2010 version,I am learning to use modeling 17.0.now is a little that I try to run loft with this last program,but I can't find an equilìvalent function to the lofts executable with inventor and solid works.some knows how to explain to me how to do them and the procedure to follow?

with inventor and sd if I change the 3d design automatically the table is updated automatically, is there a phontion of the genre with modeling?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge of the common terms of the 3d but if I do not err the loft in the Italian version of cocreate is called "rototranslation".
to make a necessary rototranslation of a section and an average line.
then you will design your section in a work plan, which obviously for cocreate must be a closed profile, and then your average line that can be formed by different 2d elements, such as geometries of one or more floors, edges of a solid, or spline ie lines 3d in space.
now to implement the command you go into free geomatria, add to the rotary material +, at this point will appear a menu in which you will choose your pl (i.e. the plan containing the section) and your director, that is your average line. in the drop-down menu there are also other options but I always used for director. Sometimes cocreate is a bit boring so it is better that the director is about orthogonal to pl and that there are self-intersections. if you have to get a solid about self-intersecting where the section is large compared to the director's curves, check the part. from version 16.00 even if the directors have living edges without fittings it's okay, before it made some stories.

what you described me in inventor and sd corresponds to a sweep, that is given a figure 2d and given its trajectory it creates a solid along the director.
loft instead and creating a solid generated by one or more 2d geometries on different planes

in inventor and only works there is the possibility to create assemblies by binding the details between them.in modeling how do you implement it?

I don't know if you can do it (maybe having the assembly license) but sorry you don't first make a demonstration from some dealer. Look that compared to the other two you know osd stands on another planet not to say galaxy.

you are perfectly right, I have always worked with inventor and solid works that are very similar to each other, with modeling I had to reset all my knowledge, I will tell you the beginnings were very difficult because it uses a very different language and structure.
I used the envelope for example, it works well if I run it between 2 solids 2d with figures that contain edges polka dots create a lc between them, but I saw ch if I want to do it between two helixes without edges does not. I looked among the examples but does not contemplate anything of all this

There must be at least one summit, breaks the two ellipses at one point and connect them with a lc.

inventor and solid works are parametric, so they have geometric constraints.
when you want to assemble different details to form a set (for example a box of a change) you open a special file format together where you import the single varifs and assemble them by parametric constraints:wink:

I do not know inventor and they use it to clean the laser of the dvd reader:smile:

the dvd laser gets you dirty because of the osd heavy oil kernel smoking at the start.
before double click on the icon try to heat the pc with a small fire under the case. :smile:

you really need help.... .
here there are no assembly environment, and part, is a single environment in which parts and assemblies are created. the parts can already create them where they have to go, or if you load the positions with the appropriate command in which you find the usual parallels. align, all.axis in addition to dynamic commands. once the position is finished, no bond remains.
If you want to bind and simulate movements you need the advanced module.
