slowness explores resources

when I open a folder with several swx files, known that the display of icons happens very slowly (small icons, see attachment, are files imported from a parasolid created with if), and this only with the swx files. But it's okay with the files of the other programs here on the pc.

Is there any setting to change?

parasolid previews will never make you even if they have the same extension as native swx. since the sitema windows tries to make previews then realizes that it is not able and puts time

But I wasn't asking him to see the previews, I set swx to not show them:

tools --> options --> general --> shows previews in scanned resources.

It seems slow in scrolling the normal icons. I'll see in the future when I have native swx files if this little nuisance is resolved

In fact, if the folder is heavy with many files inside the scrolling and, above all, the display at the first opening are lentils. but just open it, then when you can scroll to the bottom of the list the subsequent movements are more fluid, and also the subsequent openings of the practically immediate folder. the thing is more evident with less powerful machines.
seems like a "problem" of windows, with seven is already much better.
and a little is resolved by optimizing and lightening to the maximum I know.
and even when you have all native swx you will notice the same thing:wink:

Well, the folder is on a samba-linux server with a 300 mhz pii processor, that's it.

Strange though it only happens with swx files: with those of if, gbg, openoffice and anything else works well, maybe does some search with windows search or similar.

It can be that too. However it seems to me that the not preview that you turned off in swx I don't remember if it has effects in browsing folders in the win environment out of swx though it can be
