I have this shaft of a pneumatic grinding wheel and it is finished, it is not that I have to make a hole diameter 4 and then put a hexagon to be able to screw with a brugola (obviously on the side not yet drilled); It is in fact that I can put holes everywhere on that face, except in the center and right in the center I have to put it myself.
I can't understand why the holes sometimes make me put them, sometimes not, sometimes only in absurd positions (even outside the surfaces).
advice? (although being relatively new to the wrong software something, the course that my company unfortunately provides me part in a month and I can not but work. . . ).
Thank you, mauro

Unfortunately I can't see the design as I have the 2007 version, I can't hide you that this problem also arises on my version I solved with a small artifizio: create a parallel plane to the face on which you have to do the hole and space it of 1mm after which insert the sketch on the plane and when from the depth of the hole (unless it is passing) remember that the plane is distant from the surface of 1mm and you will see that you resolve.
if then someone more experienced knows a better method well come:biggrin:

I solved another way: Pitch the random hole on the surface from where it has to leave and put two intelligent quotas giving "0" as value and then binding it to the center, in this case it worked.
I say this is a strange thing that if for example I put the first random hole the second makes me put it in the center... is it a bug?

to make holes you don't have to do the sketch before.

the comanco creation wizard holes works in two ways:
- click on the surface and then click on creation wizard holes (defined drilling in 2d)
- click on creation wizard holes and then click on the surface (defined drilling 3d)

when you complete the hole definition and switch to the positioning board of course the first hole is there planted where in the 2d drill you clicked on the floor. then delete that dot and reactivate the pencil and place the point at the center of the tree.

everything works correctly, both on the model and as procedure. no bugs. possibly read the guide there creation wizard holes.

perfect, I'll take a look at the guide then.

even without placing quotas;
put the hole where you want on that face (but without making points in other external sketches, work all in the creation holes) then select and drag on the center (which is also origin), there it freezes and takes the constraints.. and it works.

tried, it works and this is the most intuitive and fast solution!
Great!
Thank you very much.
