Did anyone have a chance to try the beta? without subscription is it possible?
Can you tell me how the photoview integration works? Since I have been doing a lot of renders with photoview360 (but being an external module I find it quite limited) I might be willing to move from 2009 to 2011 if this function and better management of multicores were present.
excuse the amount of questions

even with the subscription it is possible, it is necessary to be a "beta tester".
then without subscrition it is not possible to download the new versions even if "omega".

pv 360 is not limited because external (but still integrated and dedicated), but because it has few and essential functions for rendering, that it is not bad all added (and already in 2010 some extra control there is) and "spin" of beautiful images quite quickly (depending on the processors).
I don't think (I don't know.. happy to be denied) that swx2011 will support multicores (like all cads), but photoview yes, it already does it forever.

if you have at least one professional you can use internally to the program the photoworks that is more complete, but also more complex and heavy.

greetings

I thought they could test the new version even to those who are undersigned, sin, will be in a few to be able to write their experiences with the beta you know

being external there is no possibility to manage lights or cameras to create videos, but once integrated (what should happen with 2011) it should be possible. . I hope

I have the professional and first I used only photoworks, but for a while I find myself better with photoview and renders seem qualitatively better.

until a few years ago you could have been beta tester without even having the license. Now I don't know if things have changed, but beta testers shouldn't depend on subscription.

for curiosity, but photoview is included or paid? in the second case if it costs more than luxology way (800 euro c.a) take the latter directly (it is the same engine) and import the native swx files.

including.. we would miss

I wrote a message with the news of sw2011 that I deleted because I do not know if it is against the rules of solidworks
Yes, indeed beta testers should have accepted a "non disclosure agreement" that prevents communicating soft news to third parties.

I have no doubt.
as I have no doubt that both ptc and all the competition has long been in the hands and started the reverse... In fact, no, they already have sources... and then make the virgins...

we can give some hints on the forum, maybe not new technologies, but improvements of commands, new useful commands, etc... without extrapolating them from documents contained in the beta, but can be found online in international forums (notoriously a little later).

... then we can say that there will be (for me) some good news on equations! !

I use it in a heavy way and will be useful

import/export/link of equations
possibility to activate/disable parts/axis/works from equations (magari according to a measurement)
possibility to set global variables in tables

I think what they want mainly is not to avoid leaking news but to wash the dirty cloths in the house as the beta will be stuffed with bachi.
