management of ownership of part inserted in part

hi, I often find myself having to insert, in a side file, another part then add material or processing (typical case with the use of castings).
I can not insert in the drawing of the worked piece, a property of the original file (in case a reference to the rough fusion itself).
my purpose is to insert (it would also be enough) a note type 'recover from xxxx fusion' (clearly with the xxxx that you fill in automatically).

p.s. discarded already a priori the possibility of making a save by name of the original file because, at the change of the same, I would not have the updating of the tables of the parts in which the original (or the fusion if we want) is inserted.

How do you handle this case?

Unfortunately I never found a system to use the same fusion in derived parts.

However you can do different things, do a part with configurations (casting, machining). another road seems the part, import it into a set and make us mechanical processing (it is not created). so when you put on the table you can use the list of components that will tell you that you started from the xxxx merger.

I avoid this road for two reasons:
1) I have seen that configurations should be used to make us few things (... my personal opinion... :redface
2) I would go down the logic of reuse of common parts such as mergers

If you do a set, automatically do the separate table components and tell you the code of the crude. If you save the sheet model 2d does it by yourself...you don't miss :finger:
as a derived part is another story (but since you have quoted the explanation of the assieme... I don't know what you're referring to)

I had a memory of this possibility from the update campus to 2010. when you do insert part there is the possibility to import even custom properties.
I did some tests and the system doesn't seem to work. that flag in the proprety manager of "put part" name custom property says long and in my opinion it is a malfunction.
Moreover, from the service pack 3.0 are trying to connect the anagrams of the bodies between mirrored and inserted and have not yet succeeded, in each version there is a different bug. They opened me a spr, but who knows when it's okay.
who is in assistance should ask for explanations of that custom property flag and possibly open a call... .

In fact we via pdm manage to extract the multilevel distinction also of parts inserted in the parts.
i.e., we manage mergers with the fusion model and the finite model.
the first is inserted in the second on which we go to perform the removal functions.
the pdm sees me in this way two levels of bom.
