Bye to all,
I am trying to open a dxf file, but autocad gives me the following error:

the name of the symbol table record is not valid: "" in line 4770.
invalid or incomplete dxf input - deleted design.

if I open with the dxf with note lock how can I find the error and adjust everything?

Thank you.
bb

Try with other cads, like draftsight or progecad smart, maybe they're more of a good mouth.

I don't have any other cad... .

and on block notes how do I understand in which line I find?

Thank you.

use notespad ++! is free!
or attach here the zipped file that some pious soul, converts it to a readable format!

those I have shown you are free, just look for them with google, download them and install them (progecad only for personal use).

Unfortunately I don't solve it, but I can identify the contents of the 4770 line, which in the file is empty! insert elet-110, it seems to me, and then it tells me error!!! !
internal error: !dbobji.cpp@290

so it is not even readable by draftsign, or extracad.... because the sequence was corrupted.
who knows how many times this file has been compressed; but the original in dwg cannot be found? Strange is done with acad!

I also tried with notespad++, but nothing.
attempted a recover and also an insert as a block.
No results.

I opened it with qcad on linux, I'll recompress it back. I don't know if there's anything missing from the original, qcad seems to be running until 2000 so it's possible that some primitives were eliminated.

is still a recovery!!! or not?
the demo version of qcad, expires quickly! (under win!)
But beautiful right this hunter, deserves to be reported, already other times we found difficulty in reading dxf!

open with turbocad without problems.

saved in .dxf version 2008, came out a 10 file and passed mb...

I try to train him. . .

I forgot, in opening it, I saw that there were overlaps and things like that...

Hi.

this is the best conversion. also recognized the texts that before were not.

I opened it and it's okay, maybe something's missing...... but that's fine.

Anyway, thank you all for the help.
