I downloaded the free version (2 axes and 1/2) of the integrated cam in inventor 2015.
Does anyone use it? opinions?

What's on your car?You anticipated me. ...
At first glance it seems intuitive, I did a test by doing the post processor for a car we have in the company and it seems to write everything as it should.
we are evaluating a small course to start using it, though if someone has indications on available material would be a welcome info.
of course also some opinion on how it works is well accepted.
in the week I will make a day of course then we will begin to use it.Hello.
Since it comes free with inventor 2015, I proposed it in the company where I work, we recently started using it; we have a cnc 3 axes fanuc.
Sometimes you struggle a bit to figure out how to select the geometries to generate the tool path, but I think you only need to learn to use it. . .
the only complaint of the cnc operator that uses it is that it is only in English and it seems not imminent a translation in Italian. I found the localization files and thought I'd try to translate them but they're about 400 strings. . .
If anyone cares you could split the job, if we were 8-10 wouldn't be a great job!
azz, to me it seems much more immediate and intuitive than hypermill, especially for the selection of geometries.Hello.

. . . . . . . . !
the course we activated it through the license dealer, so I would say it is personal autodesk.azz, to me it seems much more immediate and intuitive than hypermill, especially for the selection of geometries.
of course hypermill has other qualities (and 10,000 more than I spent at its time).
But I like this hsm.
I'm thinking about starting using it for the simplest pieces where there are no surfaces or other interpolations.....
@tecnomodel:
Does the course make you self-desk?
My retailer seemed a bit shy about the courses, it seemed a little bit flattered on the subject.
I did a test with contour 2d, from there you can select a edge if in the model you do not have the bevel and set depth of the bevel and offset to use on the tool.question:
to make bevels on a profile what to use?
the only tool that makes me use a 90° brake is the "trace", but it only makes me work in the middle piece, I would like to work in offset of a few millimeters from the center.
in trace->passes->chamfer there are the options width (the bevel) and offset, which from the image that appears looks to be my case, but in fact does not give results.
p.s. for the mod.
If you continue like this, will you have to make a sub forum?
I think we leave it here, so soon it ends:36_1_15:p.s. for the mod.

I got the cam.I think we leave it here, so soon it ends:36_1_15:
I think if you need a cam it is better to turn to someone who has done it for a lifetime.
Maybe for some carpenter, who knows?
All this I say is having read this discussion, I do not know the product and I do not intend to make it known, it is not my field.
