3d cover system - tips

Hello, I would like to draw a cover system as an attachment
in red the main rectangular beams, in secondary reticulation beams
in blue, the pillars

the whole then covered obviously with smaller ribs, all then covered obviously by a metallic material (transparent fire in Annex 2)

how would you designate it?

I'm doing everything in conceptual mass mode
then matter inside the project and lighthouse "surface skin"
but then the structure?

What do you think the best procedure is?

1) families of beams according to types
2) pillars with appropriate families
3) import families into the project and place them with appropriate work plans
4) for the roof use the default family, possibly divided into "picchi"

1.according to guys? (I didn't understand... )
Do you draw the drawings in the project after I entered the mass family in the project? Or am I still putting them in the family editor?
because I was drawing the overall form of coverage in the editor of conceptual massifs (see the annex)
because it will be a module that will be repeated several times

2.ok but the pillars are tilted
and will have a variable section. . .
Shouldn't I draw them with modeling conceptual families?
and then put them in the project? (or inside the family "the roof with pillars" which then will be inserted in the project? )

4. the default famiglai applico already in the project? or again in the editor (see that the module will be repeated for about 60 times)

No.
creates new families of reticlolar beams, pillars, etc. with new > family and model with extrusions (solid/empty).
subsequently created families, must be imported into the project to which the roof applies (default)
designed the first "module" and saved as a group, the same must be repeated with the command "matrix"
