Good morning, everyone, I have a problem I can't solve. I have a dwg file of a 3d shed that turns out to be heavy (320mb). I did a _purge but I didn't solve... I can't really open it anymore (it blocks autocad). I also had an expert.. but nothing... opens but is not editable/copyable. I wanted to ask you if you know a way to solve...maybe copying the file on a new design...thanks to all (ps I can attach the dwg file)

I'm confused.
does not open but opens...
it is not copyable but you would like to copy it in another design....
You can attach the file but don't attach it... .

insert it as a lock in a new design and see if it improves.

Sorry about the confusion. I can't open the file with my 8 gb pc anymore. I asked for help to a person who has more experience with autocad and the file can open up, but it must be forced to close. I'm going to file here. I would be very grateful if you could help me google drive: sign-in

an attempt that you could do is to load and display a layer at a time (as long as there are).

after selecting the file in the command window Open the door, click on the black arrow at the right of the "Open" button and select "open partially" a new window will show you the list of layers and you can choose the one to display.

I can't download the files from google drive. I don't remember which email I created the account on google drive. Could you upload it to another host?
free hosting list file hosting: the best free services to upload your filesYou could make an attempt by defrosting all layers, then select all entities and make a simple copy.
then create a new design and paste. all entities at that point will end up on a single layer, so you will have to recreate the layers.
It takes a bit of patience, but at least you won't be forced to do all over again and most likely the design will be much lighter than before.
