3d models of cars for inventor 2011

I have long been looking for 3d models of cars in production type smart, point, mercedes, etc. for inventor.
I found some files in .3ds format that I can't turn into .ipt or stp for inventor.
Can anyone help me??? ......

I looked a long time ago, but I didn't find anything. The blueprints you can use to draw the models from scratch.

If they are .3ds you can download the demo of rhinoceros and make them become .igs or .stp. at this point it should be easy to throw them in your cad.

strange though that inventor (I don't know) can't import the 3ds.

thanks to both, I have seen the blueprints that I will need to make the 2d cards as already done before.
As far as the 3ds pass in stp format is revamped, I have already tried to do it before but I have very heavy files to handle, especially when I have to make the harvests.
