Good morning to all,
I am trying to build a scanner to scan forms of footwear (so forms not too large).
I already have in mind the mechanics (a plan on which sideways flow 2 supports for lasers), but are looking for lasers that can be interpreted by a program, so as to scan the whole shape in one pass. the idea was two side lasers
Can anyone recommend me if there are low budget laser optics and automatic alignment programs?

Thank you.

is more than anything for economy: the laser scanner I would like to build will have a specific function.
david laser scanner.... let's lose!! it will be economical but it is Moroccan, x nothing precise.
I already have next engine, good and cheap.

I hope someone can help me look for laser optics to scan quickly in one pass.

Excuse me, but if you already use next engine and write that it is great and also economical what is better than an excellent and economic thing? ?

If you find for example at 80.000 € a laser interferometer you are sure that the price is super cheap... but you have 80.000 € to spend?

Ultimately, what does it mean to you economic? ? ?

You're right, I wasn't clear:
next engine is fine, but it's a little slow.
the idea of building an object was born from the need to scan 360 ° (even less) an object. in one pass, therefore, with 2 laser contrasts that simultaneously move along one axis, I should achieve the purpose.
Now, from the idea to the project, there will be a lot of unknowns that I hope will not make me desist.
One is the cost: I would not like to spend as it (although economic) being pure experiment, but alas I seem to see that alignment software cost a lot (leios, geomagic... I hope someone forgets me.
the optics. I don't know exactly where to find them and what exactly it needs (laser, telecamerine... ).
In short, the idea is to understand what I need, first!!

Precise cameras and lasers are also on sale on the David laser scanner site, which obviously with some hardware becomes much more accurate I think.

You mean, with lasers and precise cameras, it improves the performance? but it is always david.. Would you manage 2 contemporary scans for more no calibration angle?
