Hello everyone,

after uploading a set created with creo in deep exploration, I want to save it as .max file.
deepexploration gives me the following notice: "install 3ds or change import/export settings in deep exploration" (this is the way).

do you have information about this? (of course I already installed 3ds 2013 64 bit)
 
I used d.e. several years ago, so some things could be changed..in old versions you had to have installed max, and before export you had to indicate the path of the .exe of 3dmax... at that point saves in max, but always like mesh or bredodject to ovviare to this problem, from creo there are 3 very fast solutions....the first, if the file is not huge, exported from creo the stl that in the the object will be imported as a single block, but using the exploding command, the object is not fully exploded, but first separates the various components that make up the set, if you continue to explode, you can arrive up to the individual object, of course, the files are imported and exported anyway as mesh. rhino 5 has a greater compatibility with 3ds than the old versions, plus you can still decide the level of "subdivision" during the 3ds exporting by rhino...... hello soon! !
