Hi, everybody, I have a problem. Perhaps for some of you it will be a simple thing. .
I imported a 3d block taken from archive3d.net, it is a shower and of course it consists of several elements. only that in the scene has already materials, ie the glass is yellow-transparent, the outer plate is blue, the tap is gold, etc..
I would like to be able to apply my materials instead of those, but I cannot because it recognizes me as one object. It's like it's a closed group, but it's not. .
Is there a way to divide the different parts or do I have to use the sub-object multi?

multi-sub is a manna according to me, if you learn to use it you don't do it anymore.
But if you want to divide objects (always that it is possible, it depends on who modeled it as it did) converts to editablepoly, enter the element level, select objects to be "extracted" and do detach. If with element you select everything anyway then you have to go to face level and select the faces one by one with the ctrl until you have selected them all for the object that interests you (I know it is na rupture but there is no other way) and make detach at the end.
