Hello everyone:
and compliments for the forum!
are struggling with this problem: I have to export from 3d studio max 2013 of simple models in .3ds format maintaining the library of materials (simple bookcase of red, white, blue etc...) without maps therefore, incorporated in the format .3ds
now I have noticed trying with more software and also with the same max 3dstudio that you lose the color library exporting to .3ds - basically reopening the 3ds file with 3d studio the model looks gray without colors.
-as I downloaded from the internet of the models that instead keep in 3ds (and not .max format) the library of the materials (enlobed in the same 3ds) I wondered how you can do it. lbreria therefore is not external as .mat.
Does anyone know how to do it? I tried them all but without success
Is there any tricks in particular?
I noticed that in the model library that keep the color, the colors have standard default names. Maybe that's it?
have they been exported with which particular software?
Thank you very much
