Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and I hope I have not combined disasters by opening a new discussion. of course I looked for topics before resorting to this medium. My problem is as follows: I am doing simulations on hertzian contact with abaqus; of course the problem is still in the early stages and I just have two parts in my set: a disk and a plate(2d!). I have tried in various ways (through the proposed bc) to try to rotate the disk around its axis at least in 20 different ways but there was no verse and in the results the disk remains unavoidable. I therefore ask those who use this software(abaqus 6.7 or 6.10)what is the best procedure to actually succeed in making a simple spin of this cabbage disk around its axis. thank you in advance to anyone who will respond.

Hello are marilu, graduate in architecture and I am using abaqus... would you be so kind to help me with tips for tutorials or anything? ?
