I downloaded the academic version and removed the other, I hope I have no problem... but in fact money zero :d
I take advantage to ask one thing, between academic licenses there are problems of compatibility between files? I should check better but I had problems opening some files made by students (using the same type of license).

I noticed after having a different version and I believe (99% of the odds) is that the problem.Moreover, having the software installed to switch from academic to commercial and vice versa it is enough to change the license file through license manager
yes exact, opening the license manager, I would go to set which license to use; This way you can switch from academic to commercial and vice versa without having to reinstall solid edge.Maybe I misunderstood, under the 2310 academic license, can I manage files that are compact to the 2210 academic license without having to reinstall everything but only by changing "something" licensed by license manager?
