add objects to the selection group

Hi, guys, I'm facing a weird problem. and it's even more strange because I haven't touched anything about variables etc. lately. This is the union command (and therefore environment 3d). as by default by selecting the union command, you go quietly to select the solids you want to join, all together with a single selection or even individually. the problem and that in normality individually it is possible while now my autocad 2010 has put itself in the head to select only the last item clicked where then to pyjar also shift to select all the desired items individually...! strange right?? ?
Does anyone know the variable to return the command to its normality?
How could something like that happen?

p.s. this also happens with other solid editing commands clearly, subtract, intersect, pull.. .

Pick up!
always check that in the property panel there is (top right) a square that contains the + and not "1" symbol.
