add welding cords to a part

I created several parts from which I obtained a set without following, so to speak, the "saving" mode.
then, for convenience, I saved it as a "part" file because, wanting to insert welding cords, I did not see the tab of the menu "saving, tab that instead appears if I work with a part file.
At this point I wanted to insert a welding but although in the feature tree add the function to me, in fact I do not appear the options that the tutorial says should appear.
I am doubtful that having created the piece not as welding can not add the strings.
Any advice?

what you did is conceptually wrong as saving as a part you lost your parameter and you find yourself almost an imported one.
between the functions of together there are also the welding cords, tiu council to resume the assemblies and insert them. Please note that previous versions of 2011 are not the maximum for 3d welding.
in 2011 the cords are "cosmetic" and weigh very little in the model making an excellent graphic and aesthetic result.

comq the file together I kept it.
That passage together > part I did because the option sold in the axieme did not find it.

This is a figurative welding cord:
I wanted to ask if it was possible to change style in 3d.
The cord appears as a black and grey intermittent cord.
Are there any other types of cord or just that?

the first is a function that you find for the frames obtained from a structural member of the type welds (but also when you work the single parts as I understood) while the second is a purely aesthetic artifice that you find instead both for the assemblies and for the parts.
