Good morning to all,
I have a doubt about creating the distinct base advanced in the drawing of catia v5. I'll explain. I have a main set in which I have 3 sub-assistances (compartments) and parts. when I proceed with the creation of the advanced base I create a table in which it lists all the parts that are part of the main axieme, i.e. it lists all the parts also those of the subassiemi without listing the subassiemi. I make an example: if for example I own a main set -801 within which I have a -401, a -402 and parts for example -001, -002. when I make the distinct base of the -801 I should appear a table with listed -401, -402, -001 and -002. instead I get a table that lists all the parts even those within the -401 and -402. How come? Is it normal?:confused

thanks to all and good Sunday.

Hi.

I confess that the management of the distinct base of catia, has always disoriented me for which I will try to respond (seen that they did not do it others), although confused and without knowledge of cause, take it as an attempt to take a step forward if other suggestions arrive.

I did some tests with the distinct advanced base, and I see that the dialog box offers me the "default" style, so I imagine that the customization of the list of subsets passes through the parameters defined by the style.

I then looked for the standard to change it, finding it in tools/standard/drafting/ and (in my case) in iso/stili/distinta base/default.

inside there are the distinct basic format and the properties reported, only that the fields are subevidenced therefore not editable and here I stopped, since also entering as administrator I did not manage to modify them (evidently I am in a read-only area that depend on environmental variables... it would take a systemist.

I have never used the distinct advanced base, which (if not mistaken) customizes the size and orientation of the table, but I have always used the normal one.

the non-advanced distinction, returns the grouped subsets and is customizable in menu/analysis/set basis/define formats,
where (finally) you can put the balloon number and what it takes for a decent table.

even if I never managed to save the desired format, but this is another speech. . .

thanks gianni for the answer and excuse the delay...... having the administrator privileges I have modified the distinct base in the standards but nothing has changed since nowhere I find the way to have the subassiemi....cmq for now I will do as you do, or using the distinct normal base and saving everything in a useful format. that we can do, we adapt:smile: thank you very much for the answer and good weekend:finger:
