advice on possible solution for double motorization

Hi.
a customer asks for the insertion of a double motorization for a conveyor.
the conveyor has a motor (cable shaft) calettatato pendule on the shaft and in the opposite part (change the shaft) we should insert a new motorization that can be operated in case the primary damages.
so while the conveyor works with the primary gear motor the secondary must go into crowds not to be dragged. this implies the insertion of a joint with free wheel... .
if the secondary motorization comes into operation, it is the primary to be dragged! if not disassembled or equipped with free wheel. this implies revising both motorizations and their housing.

who produces them?
exist with two entrances? shaft reducer and shaft / drum tape?
This system would solve the problem because a reversible rotation tape! !

are the classic electrical clutches and there are a myriad of producers.
you make motor and reducer more friction and drum axle. the same thing you do on the other side and the commands as you like....transport, in rotation without load etc.

Yes thank you, I found... the problem is that with this system we go up with the costs. being the second motorization necessary only for emergencies I think we will go with two simple chain joints. with the manual assembly, of the junction chain, to the motorization that you will want to operate.

if the coupling has to be manual you can well use a front coupling with manual grafting, also built. I thought of something vital that must be operational h24. Maybe not so

Why not put a free wheel on primary motorization?

are simple things work cheap and do not need external commands like clutches.....

I thought of chain transmission with pinions on free wheels, but I wanted to see if I'm on the right track.
