That's my first message.
I have written, I have tabled and tried to answer my question.
I recently use the solidworks 2008 and do it to draw mechanical parts or other assemblies.
in this period I'm experimenting with the construction of a 3d aircraft and then developing the dxfs of the various parts that I feed to a cnc milling machine that I recently developed.
to talk about concrete things I attach the file of the axieme that I cannot solve.
I collided with the development of a face (so to zero thickness) on a plane, as if it were an adhesive, so as to bring on a balsa sheet the cover of some parts of the fuselage.
in several discussions we talk about using the sheet function, but it does not do to my case and in any case I tried without results,
Can anyone tell me the right way?
(in the file you can see the fuselage of an extra 260 in section, the dilemma is how to develop in the plane the colored face of green).
thanks to those who will read all this pappardella and goodvita to all! !

Hi.

in the file you see nothing, you should make a pack & go and also include the parts in the zip file.
If I understand what you want to do, do not do with solidworks, use dedicated external applications.

hello re_, thank you for the promptness, that I couldn't match since I went to inform about what was the "pack and go" you recommended! :
pack and go carried out and what I train now you should be able to see it.
I was doubtful about being able to do it or not with solidworks this job and I'm getting more and more convinced I'm going to have to use something else. . .

the sheet function is what it takes, I solved the development, only that
I can give you that in 2011.
If you have patience I will make you a video so you will understand how to operate.
Hi.

Thank you so much mike, I wait for your video.
But you think I can have trouble doing it again in 2008?
I'm just curious.

Here I am, I pray that 2008 I never used it, I passed from 2007 to 2009...
anyway, attached two videos, one starting from where you left, one
instead as it would be correct to do.
I don't remember if the plates were allowed in the presence of other bodies... but with the video I'm sure you'll find ideas to solve.
ps: eye to eye maycolo

ciao :finger:

hi mike, first of all I don't know how to thank you for having devoted time to my question, I just saw the videos... I didn't understand much, but knowing that you can do is already so much.
now I have to review your videos (a lot of times and slower seen your speed) and first associate the various keys with the various functions you use.
for now thank you and as soon as I can do it, I write to you.

Thank you, I gladly did!
about the video, in some points I focused on (to make the labels appear..), as I specifically performed actions that gave errors precisely to make you understand the importance of the sequence and the selection points.
I hope to have been clear, if anything puts your questions or doubts, you help.

Hi.

Michael

Okay, I did it! ! ! !
Great, now that I finish the modeling step to realize it and place of the photos.
Thanks again mike.
p.s. I saw the pictures uploaded by you on the site, exceptional! But is that "thermal motor" an ironling?

Well, I was sure.

I designed it and built it in 1992.
thinks I drew it on blocknotes sheet and built it with
lathe and hobbies... I don't tell you to get the materials.
great satisfaction when, even if for a few seconds, I put it
in motion: a libidine.
the photo, instead, of that pedal, others is just a component of my
driving simulator pedal.
diseganata in 2007, with swx 2006, realized with the help of : laser cutting, water cutting, lathe, bevel milling and bending machine.

keep me posted on your project.
Hi.
