hello to all, as from title I should reproduce a seat for an airplane scale model of the iia g.m. and as you see it was made of sheet metal.
I tried a tide of times to do it with sw with surface modeling, and looked at several tutorials, but I can't get a spider out of the hole.
I attach a zip file with some pictures and the starting sw file, already scaled as necessary. the images used in the sw file for modeling are lightly different from the table taken by the nomenclator (image0024), but they go more than well to reproduce the seat.
thanks to all for the help and suggestions on how to proceed.
Bye!

1635343515988.webp1635343563965.webpI make it up, this is a quick test... if you do the model of the inside to be subtracted and then change the result is not evil... if you want a more realistic result you should do for plans, where you draw the section and then you make a loft... I hope you have been helped.1635343781697.webp

I don't know solidworks
But I think there's a chance to build a skeleton in wireframe.1635345773288.pngfrom wireframe build surfaces

Then let me know if you did
I care about the potential of solidworks

See this video I think it's okay. The method of the floor sections is the best solution.

I'm going to jump under a bridge! 😢😂@vittori: Attach the step file if you want to quote.@sperx: thanks for suggestions. I try to see if I can, then I'll let you know.

Thank you!

Perfectly empty step file:)
However I don't need it, my suggestion I gave you even if it's not compatible with the commands you have on solidworks.
the principle is however what you can see on the video @sperx

azz... actually... probably because in the file there are no solids, but only sketches... 😬
