Hello everyone, I'm sorry, but I'm new to f.e.m. I should do a static load analysis for the figure piece, what kind of mesh do you recommend to use?
I am using cosmosworks 2008,the 6mm thick piece, they recommended to select as size of the maximum element of mesh 3mm to have an adequate simulation of the distribution of stress,my computer however not ruesce to arrivre so,the maximum that I can afford are 4mm even if 5 would be better,I had thought to use a mixed mesh type dealing with the two surfaces, high and lower as shells. ..as solver I am using theffeplus that to what I understand it should be faster with elememnti at a high number of degrees of freedom, thanks... send also a zip of the piece
