Hey, guys.
in recent days I'm trying with a 3d analysis, viscoplastic models (creep), in algor.
Unfortunately, I have several problems in the resolution.
a brief description of the problem:
- my structure is subject to its own weight and temperature (constant on the whole solid); in particular it is a tube about 10m long and of=0.05m and thickness 5mm.
-the structure is framed up and then "penzola".
- based on simple considerations the creep phenomenon will activate (see high temperature 900°c) making "long" my structure.
-the law of creep is the power law, of which I obtained the properties from experimental data
-the type of analysis I would have chosen is a mes with non-linear materials and an analysis period of 50000 hours.
Could any of you tell me the steps to follow during my simulation? In particular, I think I have problems with defining the properties of mes and defining the element (which I had chosen tetrahedric).
I press that the geometric model the amount *.stp, because generated 3d with other software.
