from about a month I am using inv 2012 on my ws that has a couple of years (xp professional 32-bit, 4 gb ram and increase of inventor memory to 3 gb) but now every day is a drama... step from sudden crash to slowdowns of the type that in sketch mode, to make a rectangle use a fifteen seconds, from save error windows (but the server has no problem) to visual problems (mount a nvidia picture x1700 with updated drivers).

with inv 2011 I never had any problem despite opening drawings with over 4,000 details.

At the moment we thought we would replace the so by installing a 64-bit windows 7, what do you say? Could it be a solution or could there be others?

Maybe I shouldn't say that, but I challenge anyone to deny me.
I installed it, among other things as a trial version while having the subscription, just tried and now I wait for the first service pack to come out.

we have installed it only and exclusively for the exploitation of the multicore in the table, given the mega assemblies that we must manage. said this quoto stefanobruno and I recommend you wait to install. a bunch of small problems.
with this version they have pointed (according to me) only on the quantity that on quality, a huge suite with software that I will never use but with the same problems in inventor from some relics to this part.

I never had dramatic problems with iv at 32bit, but when I went to 64 bits and 8gb ram because I changed ws, magically the few problems I had disappeared.
In addition, I do not want adsk to reduce testing on old 32-bit sos, to focus on new ones.

I have ws with quad core q6600 @2,4ghz, 8mb ram
