animate a cable

I wanted to ask you a question: Have you ever animated a cable running in a pulley?
in practice I have a cave (it is small stuff) from 1 mm that must flow in a pulley dia 10. the winding of the cable around the pulley is variable from 100° to 150°.
How would you do that?

At the moment I solved "shaking" a little. In practice I moved the corta vertices manually by creating keyframes.
but I think there is another way to simulate a rope around a pulley that on the one hand shortens and on the other stretches also changing the angle to the anchoring point.
I always hope in every expert on the forum...

mmmm... I'm not an animation expert, but I think there are too many variables to do it another way.
perhaps assigning gravity and collision you can interact with the pulley with the cable but I can't explain how :redface:
