I use ansys 12.0 on win 7 64 bit is working perfectly, maybe that problem may be due to an error in the installation but much more likely to the fact that you have installed the 32 bit version in a 64-bit pc!!! !

ansys can be downloaded from the dedicated portal, just be in contract maintenance (I always do it, it makes no sense that they send me the cds every time they release a release, even if every time they are gb of stuff).
64 turns on 64bit, 32 turns on 32.
If you had a regular contract, you would know that you would have both versions without paying an extra euro, ergo are talking about illegal software.

I don't support illegality at all... I ask you a question for what you wrote: how do you get hired by companies when you need knowledge you sw fem? don't tell me that at university (especially with the new order) you can master such a complex tool.......you don't have to reprimand those who try to learn, you have to reprimand those who do illegal things
