Hi guys, I was evaluating the possibility of buying the printer in question and I wanted to know if any of you printers use it or if you can give me some information.

for the purchase I anticipate for the new year, but being at zero 3d printing, it would be my first 3d printer, I thought to start taking information already from now on...

the idea of the high volume for the press is given by the fact that occasionally I design and realize hardware for the flight simulator.

thanks to all for the information.

Bye!

The first question I have to ask is, why a delta printer? ok the height.... but what height do we talk about?

Why a delta? Well I read some reviews and seemed valid....:giggle:. Consider that I am now approaching the world of 3d printing and I have everything to learn and understand.

for height we talk about objects on 250-350 mm.

here on this video impressed me the print quality, although there are some changes to make:
then on the net I also found the creality cr-10s pro:
and that seems valid to me too. so now the choice gets tough....

What would you recommend?

Bye!

I assume that printing "very high" is never very precise beyond a certain height because disconnecting from the rigidity given by the printing plane, "the high" is done all less stable and with more vibrations.
apart from this a delta printer has limitations compared to a Cartesian for various reasons: the round plate that binds a lot on the shapes, the axes for very long force and therefore need arms with higher mechanical rigidity... in practice is less versatile than a Cartesian. but with this does not mean that they are not good and do not serve purpose. So if you just think you're printing high items, then you can go on the delta. if you think that in a future you can print different things, then better the versatility of the Cartesian.

As for the printers you have indicated, they are both good entry levels that print well despite the hardware and software limitations they have and are definitely functional to what you will have to do. always hobbies.

Bye!
Where are you?

Hi steve, thank you for the answer! looking at other reviews on the net now are almost permanently oriented on the cr-10s pro.

a new year I will see if they have made further improvements otherwise I will take it and away.... But there's also birthplace in the middle... ;)

See you soon!

Hello, marvel,
If it can be useful to you, I use a cr10s with satisfaction, (it was not my first printer) I printed high pieces even 200 and 250mm without difficulty. I immediately started with the tempered glass heater, adhesiveness without problems of the first layers and cold plate release without difficulty. does not require cleaning before a new print.
petg mold, normal pla, pla wood.
modifications made: cooling cone, boar axis y tendons, aluminium spingiphile group.

hello valter, thanks for the information! :
I looked for the accessories you say and on the site of creality I found the heated floor in tempered glass: https://www.creality3dofficial.com/...reality-cr-10s-pro-tempered-glass-build-platethe aluminum spingiphile group should be standard now, if I did not understand bad looking at the various reviews on the net.

what is the utility of the axis belt curtains y? Do you know if it's already on the cr-10s pro?

Bye!

Mar

Hello Valter, thank you so much! What about tempered glass? Would you be okay with what I told you on the link?

Mar

Hello, Marco.
At first glance it looks like the same as I have, and I can tell you it makes a difference.

Okay, thank you. When I take the printer, I'll take the glass top. I will buy directly from them, I have seen that there are no substantial savings by buying on other sites.

Bye!
