application of materials

Hello everyone, I have a problem: I use autocad 2008 and I have to apply materials to a 3d with different elements. select the individual objects that I must render; but at the time of rendering I see that the material has been applied to all elements while having selected certain. for example if I apply the material "glass" to the windows, in the rendering turns out all the structure in glass!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is the model divided by layers or have you drawn everything on layer 0?

hi lattu, I drew absolutely everything on different layers...but I solved...they have to be autocad hinges errors, now for example, when I have to load the textures for a material, it does not find any files (the texture folder turns out empty -.- ) ... I will have to reinstall the program. .
