I usually cover all the drawing, take it into a new sheet (which loads my .dwt) take off and then I take the odds with dimstyle. . .

... it works but especially for heavy drawings, it is not very fast as method.. .

I was wondering if you know faster methods to apply the vs. dwt model to other design.

Why don't you do the opposite?
just copy a share of your custom style inside the dwg with the odds "dark".
if then the odds "horrible" are placed on a layer of them, just select them all (for example with selerapid) and change the style in block.

... I'm not always on a single layer... we say that by my method, after I can add other quotas "as I like to mè"

only a clarification.... a dwt model is not only quotas, so applying a model to a design definitely requires more steps than those indicated by you, cmq the paste copy is not indispensable, if you use the filter on the quotas, copy your share within the corrupt dwg, impose your style as current and then with updated quotas apply it to all the design.

But be careful that by doing so (and also by your method) if there are no-scale odds (dimlfac<>1) by attaching the odds hanging the scale of your style so you may have some odds "wrong".

When working with "external" drawings, we must always consider that to adapt them to a standard we must devote time to having a job done well.
