approximation simulation effort abacus

Good morning to all,

I have a question to ask about a problem that I found myself facing during abaqus simulations (I'm still in the learning phase).

I would like to simulate cutting efforts on membranes of thickness ~500 nm and elastic module of 5 gpa.

is it possible to obtain reliable results if I analyze the membrane with a greater thickness (e.g. 500 um) lowering the elastic module (5 mpa), still keeping them proportional?
