aprile file patran 2017 in patran 2016

Hello everyone, I am an aerospace engineering student and I am approaching the use of patran/nastran software. I created a fem analysis on university pc with patran 2017. back home I go to open the file on patran 2016 and I get out of this message:
is it possible to convert the file or not?

You have to save the bdf and then reimport the bdf into the oldest patran.
you can also save in groups in a .ses file. there is a utility on purpose.
but it is not the same thing that open a db. patran to each version not from compatibility with the previous ones.
