association asm vs part

Hello everyone,
I wanted to reconnect to this discussion and ask you: is it possible to associate a table with a part? I explain better: I have a set with his table, the customer wanted for his needs to transform that assieme into a part, so it is no longer an asm file but becomes a part file. is it possible now to associate the old table created by the axieme to the part file? without having to do so?

according to me no, the command replace model reference allows to select documents of the same type (assieme .iam, part .ipt)
you can try as in old times with the methods described in these discussions but at least you miss all the references of quotas.

associare una veccchia tavola ad un nuovo modello

Ciao non sono sicuro che sia già stata fatta questa discusione ( non l'ho trovata). non ricordo più come poter associare una tavola fatta in precedenza e associarla ad un nuovo modello appena creato. potete aiutarmi per favore?

said this, if the axieme is connected to the part (is a derivative part? the connection is suppressed/enclosed?) you can always decide if it really serves to remake the quotation, depends so much on the model in question. . .

thank you for the catafract response, then the axieme is connected to the part, (said among us is a somewhat strange method that they have, but happy them) I attach you an image to make you understand better.
basically I did the welded, but they wanted the part on the table (of what you see). I now have simply changed the name to the table, but the connection remains to the welded (if I open the solid from the table leads me to the welded axieme and not to the part as they would want them in substance.

That's what I understand.
I also met companies (multinational in the steel industry) who with inventor work in this way seems to be to keep the files as light as possible, for the big assemblies, at least so I understood from their explanation but never really appreciated this great difference.

I understand wanting the multibody file, sometimes I find it convenient as well and sometimes it is requested by customers: my astonishment concerns the axieme, I would be natural to create a "normal" set and in case of request of multibody create a derivative part, possibly suppressing the link to speed up the updates; and I don't think of the advantage of having the multibody inside the axieme.. .

use the part to get the table of the piece then insert the piece into a very blank equal code and use this together for all groups the assemblies and the upper lay out seems that so the management of these assemblies and higher groups is simpler and faster, but I repeat I did not manage to appreciate the difference.
