autocad 2012 using the close command closes and saves the file without asking for anything

I ask for help!!!! !
autocad 12, using the close command the program closes and saves the file without asking me anything and this causes unwanted data loss.
I make an example: I open an old drawing in archive to use parts, clearly modifies gate etc. when I close it he does not tell me discard changes, but closes it brutally. theoretically before closing any modified design, not to save it as it is, I should do undo until the beginning.

I must have warned me about a variable I can't find.

I don't understand the indication that the link gives me. It seems to me to understand that here is the procedure to omit the alrt.
autocad is normally set to the installation so that at the close command he interrupts and asks: the document has been modified... You want to save? my problem is that this fundamental alert in close is gone. I want to restore it.
I don't want to have inadvertently set some variables.
