Hello everyone!

I have some problem managing *.shx files.

I have to integrate in a .dwg information about the location of the snam gas network.
snam provided us with a *.shx file that I entered into the drawing by means of the task pane following these steps: connect data, (file selection), connect, add to paper.

the result is that the network (which is georeferential) is inserted very far away from where it should be (even my dwg is georeferential) and there is no way to move it, edit it etc. in selecting it and trying to execute any command comes out:
command: _copyclip
select objects: specify opposite angle: found(s) 105105 have been filtered
What can I do? I admit it's the first time I draw with file shape:)

Thank you very much.

to say that your design is georeferential means everything and does not mean anything...in which coordinate system is georeferential?
ps the shx file is not a shapefile but a index file. the shapefile is the shp

I beg your pardon, *.shp, of course, as you mean:d

However the reference system in my .dwg is gauss boaga.
of the design provided by the snam is written in a note:
"It is important to keep in mind that the network, although inserted in a georeferenced system, cannot be considered georeferential because the position of the same on the planimetric representation is not resulting in a detection with g.p.s. on the territory, but obtained simply by digitizing the methane as represented on the existing tablets igm 1:25000 and crt 1:10000; therefore the position of the network snam gas must be indicated.
in detail:
the snam file that is "about georeferential" appears around this point x = 1677953.4027 y = 5145801.7954
my dwg is here: x = 679446.7421 y = 5150248.9699

You're right, my dwg is in etrs89 utm32n while the snam file is in gauss boaga. How can I put the latter in etrs89 utm32n coordinates?

Thanks and I'm sorry for the chase. I've made some confusion. :
