I come back here a few months away with one of my usual impossible problems!
here is what it is:
in the office we have installed the 2010 version of maps and hearings, we can no longer print layouts of files set with custom sheet size (beyond to understand us), but only when the mapplottransparency command is set to on. this happens both that on the file are present to data shape where the transparency function is actually used, whether the file is free of any connection.
Moreover, if I try to circumvent the obstacle by creating a dwf, the print does not manage the transparency of the shapes present and the output colors are always extreme loads (regardless of the type of selection you do in the color management properties).
