autodesk inventor pro 2013 - abnormal behavior graphics card.

:smile: hives to all, I hope to have posted in the right section; at this moment I am working with a customer who has recently passed from the inventor 2010 to the 2013 professional version; I'm pressing that in the company we work on average with assemblies from 40000 components (of course included the requests). nvidia quadro 600 (in place of a gt8400) that should be a fairly powerful card, from the information I found. the only problem is that if first, even if with a slight slowdown, it was able to rotate the axieme keeping it completely visible ... now carrying out the rotation half together disappears momentarily and then recompete at the end of the command. I also tried reducing to the minimum the visual values of the following parameters "transition time views" "minimum frame rate" e "quality display",in < application options > in the < instrument board > but the result does not improve much...
I suspect it's a card driver problem (although it's the most up-to-date) , rather than inventor settings but at this point I really don't know what else to try:frown:.someone can help me ? it becomes difficult to perform studies under these conditions! Has the same situation happened to someone? Is there an improvement?

Look, it also happened to me in the previous firm with a 2000d framework, with an assembly of about 4700 parts.
as soon as I rotated the axieme, some pieces disappeared temporarily and then recomparison just finished the command.

same composure with my geforce gtx 560 you. as soon as the command ends, all the pieces "lost" reappeared during rotation.
I tried to update the drivers of both cards, but nothing to do, the problem persists.

At this point I think that the problem is of inventor, since where I work now, we use solidworks 2012 with assemblies of about 4000 parts and picture video card 600, and problems of disappearance/disappearance of pieces dutante the rotation, do not manifest at all.

so, I think it's an inventor's problem and I'd like to know how to solve it, because I like you too tried to act on the parameters you mentioned, but without getting any substantial benefit.
I did not try with a 4000 picture, but frankly I refuse to think that you should spend more than 800 euros of card to make you turn well assiemi than on other software like solidworks, have no problem with a 600 picture.

from the "application options" tab "hardware" tries to select "compatibility"...every time you don't already know that.

Yes, try to put the compatibility option even if I think you will not have any effect because I tried it without success. the only thing if I remember, is that the slowdown remained even if the pieces did not disappear anymore, but at the expense of the quality that worsened a little. Anyway if you can, better like that!

Remember to close all windows once you have applied the new graphic settings and then re-April, if not take them.
