Good evening to all,
I have models imported from steps of some ex-assiemi of which I know the total real weight but are not entirely of the same material.
I would like to be able to assign a "appearing" density to have their weight in the context of catproduct.
use the "standard" material library doesn't suit me to the bottom and then also assigns the wrong graphics properties.
is it possible to force a certain density regardless of the type of material?
Thank you.

provided that you should create a copy of the library/catalogue but in administrator mode, then a little more complicated, otherwise "on flight" you can do so:

1) choose a type of material that has the best graphic properties for your case
2) apply the material to the part
3) Select material and double click or properties and change name and density according to your needs
4) copy and paste the material into parts of the same type

Let me know.

Hi.

Unfortunately I am not enabled to make "order" as admin (even if I would like to change different things. . )

However Monday I will try the second road that looks like a good work-around and I will give you feedback
Thank you.

perfect, so I can satisfy both the problem of the imported assemblies and the library (made by who knows who !!!) and for the graphics does not hold me at all.

Thank you.
