axioms - cosmetic threads

Good afternoon!

I am currently drawing a reducing case (cover and bottom).

before entering all details (pignons, wrenches, gears, etc.) I wanted for production issues to show the two elements within the axieme.

Therefore, I wanted to know if when in a solidworks axieme I do not place the screws inside the holes, these I can show them how when I make the table of a particular (part I mean) highlighting "the cosmetic" of the hole.

if you just want to show the thread because you don't make it real and show a configuration with thread and one without...I always do the 2 versions, one for drawing (with cosmetic) and one for assembly (with thread).

Anyway @sperx What's the point of making the actual thread with the weighting of the axieme? you put on display cosmetics and you gain in performance

What does that mean? a threaded hole must have cosmetic thread, a passing photo no.
to have an image would avoid all these misunderstandings.

I incorporated a section of the axieme. both in the lid and in the case there are holes for the bearing clamp covers.

I wanted to see if you could show all the cosmetic thread. instead of the rules of the guide, in the assemblies this does not break.

hi to everyone, I hook up in the tail to this discussion for a little "esthetic" mere problem that appears all the time when in drawing I have to display hidden intersection lines. typical case in which the screw m8, therefore with an external diameter of 8 mm, is screwed in a nut m8 that however has the inner diameter (=solid) of 6.75 mm. The representation I posted below is really horrible. do you know how I can get the missing part (=red arc)?!? I tried everything in the configuration but currently no luck grazie thanks

I am not a solidworks user, but I ask you in your case the dice have the bevels on the holes? even inventor does not display the line you mean as they are "interferences" of diameters for which the edge would not exist, while having the bevel on the hole of the dice you would see the line you request
