ballons with custom numbers

Good morning, guys.

I take care of the documentation part of an aircraft company and use the 3d (catea v5) especially to carry out procedures and explosions for the part shoot parts.

When I put the ballons on the board a custom numbering (e.g. 10, 20, 30, 40...) , generating the bom automatically (both the std and the advanced) does not keep the number inserted but it creates one with its order, I have already made several tests both in the solid and at the table but does not assign the number ballons to the table (as if it lost the connection).

I have already worked with several 2d/3d (solid works, inventor, I create..) but this is the first time I happen. having then assemblies of many components.. I think it's crazy stuff to manually fill out the table.

I attach one case only to be clearer if I hadn't been.

But do you change the balls in 2d?? ?
You can't do it in the 2d... or better you can write what you want in the ball but he holds that of the 3d in the possible table, which is automatically given by catia .
I also had the same problem, I would need to handle different numbers, but you can't.

Yes yes I certainly change them by hand in the table, I tried in all ways but nothing.. But I wonder. I used m10 of 1980 and the ballons kept the numbering when I then generated the distinct and caty that is a super top program does not?? on solid and on the other 3d this thing I have always done.. that is a problem with settings? macro? I don't know, but it doesn't exist that in 2023 I have to number assemblies with even 1000 or more maninal components. .

I confirm what he wrote @mcbrambythe numbering is generated by the catproduct and you can't do differently if you don't switch from the assistance that can create a custom macro sucking your blood.
I resigned and adapted.

You can do the world if you know the programming language vbs, I have never deepened because, for the type of my work, it is enough and advanced.

in the sense it always starts with two digits and not with one.

then in the catproduct launch the automatic numbering and then move the positions with the appropriate command.

Then you create the automatic den 2d ball. should consider what you set.

for the history of the xml you have to start caia as administrator and then try to change the standard file (xml) for the 2d .

for the button to use in assembly design is this here:I realized it's just the graphical representation of the logical tree.

I believe that catia keeps in memory the order of insertion to the origin.

save the .catproduct as .txt
copy and paste into an excel file
change positions according to what you defined in 2d
insert in the 2d excel tables

you don't have the connections with the 3d but it could do to your case

Falonef I did a quick test.. compliments for advice!!! I can see you're very busy!

then moving the positions of the tree in effect when you put on the table and do the ball you appear the number also different according to the order (so already a step forward )!
There is to say that it is proved well, it could in part solve the situation.. I'll let you know as soon as I try more real cases!

the second method is a real export of distinct, even faster than the classic method of catia. we say it can be okay if there are no codes or p/n messed up by designers.. but unfortunately here they mess a little..

As for the xml part I want to try it, let's see if it can actually change some setting that can come back comfortable.

Some of you would know how to create a setting where when I insert the ballons instead of numbering 1,2,3... can number with 10,20,30,.. etc.?
