Good morning to all and good Sunday.
I'm practicing with creo 3.0 in particular with the sweep blend function.
it's very comfortable is practically a loft function but improved.
Now I followed a tutorial where I created 4 different sections of square shape at a certain distance and then passing a line that connected all the vertices (the same top in the plane) the program performed the blend of sweep without problems.
Now I have the problem as photos.
doesn't make me a sweep or loft blend.
I tried with a line passing through the middle of the sections and with a line connecting all four sides.
the sections are closed and I don't feel like anything.
definitely wrong the positioning of the trajectory.
I tried to create a passing plan for the summits and to unite them but nothing, a central plan and to conjugate both the two centers and the two ends at the center but nothing.
How do I act?
I thank everyone who wants to answer me.
cordial greetings

more than trajectory, could be the main points of departure and arrival, with forms of this type, perhaps the points and directions do not coincide and the program fails because it has to create a twist too tight.
I however agree with dani-3d that such a form, it manages much better with the surfaces (also are more feature)

remaining on the sweep blend speech, I can tell you that the first thing to do is trajectory as a sketch or as a curve. Once defined, you launch the sweep blend command that proposes you if the sketches are already done or you fly them into the feature. in the second case you create two sketches at the beginning and end of the trajectory as an initial base (see image) and then add all variants of the case. remaining that the rules of the blend remain essential.
