blue lines around imported bodies

I noticed that often when I amount a step model, all contours are highlighted with blue lines.

are blue because they are surface bodies and not solid. surface bodies with edges have, by default, blue color display.

depends on why they are surfaces. the command for conversion is trivial, but if the surfaces are open you must first close. in an object like that in figure could be complicated.

seems to be the result of a rescue as part, with activated the option "external steps", using solidworks.
If so, you might ask who provided you with the file to save the axieme as part with option "all components" and once opened as part start the defeature.
