hi to all I wanted to ask for advice on how to work to realize/extract a list of pneuimatic compoments from a complete plant.
I tend to realize the scheme in autocad lt with the tracing of the lost tubes and verify the dimensions of the 3d models with sw, the point is that the plants differ from the full modeled version in 3d.
which software tools or how to operate recommended to use me to make data extrapolation quick and functional?

p&id made with autocad are good, indeed if you use blocks, appropriate commands, or dedicated lisp; You can also extract a first list, just to have an idea.
but to do this you must have autocad full and not lt.

Instead, I think you, like most companies in this field, use lt to pull down the starting patterns, and then models them in 3d via autocad full, is it true?

or use a sw 3d that connects the model to a db with all the pieces, banally it could also go well inventor if you want to stay in autodesk house.
otherwise there are many others......... depends on the type of plant and its size.
