Hello, ragaz!
I drew with vectorw. a building in 3d and I would like to make prospectuses with shadows in glossy-presentation. What the hell is it?

I'll explain.
I could make an orthogonal view of the prospect with artistic rendering of renderingworks with cartoon style but so doing the walls come to me all grige instead of white as a technical design should be! !

is there no possibility of applying opengl shadows to the prospective view as commonly archaic and beautiful comapagnia?!? ! ?

in general we draw two-dimensional prospectuses; for shadows it is sufficient to use polygons filled with black whose opacity is less than 100%.
In your case you can use the "lines and shadows" art that recreates that kind of effect you look for. Obviously you must have placed a light source.
I do.

thank you lory you are always too kind and helpful.
after I make a quick test with the style "lines and shadows" ke I didn't consider because from the preview I saw ke generates black shadows like lines?!? But now that I think about it well when I read the basic vector manual I recognize that they did an example in which they rendered in cartoon style, then they rendered in sketch style and eventually combined the two renderings so it came out a rendering with sketch style edges but with colored polygons and shadows. after I have 5 minutes I go to review that chapter but if so you could combine an accurate technical rendering with another style that adds pleasant shadows? ? ! ?
here it needs to experiment because it seems impossible that with vector you can not have a complete control on the presentations of the model 3d! !

Here I am!

prospectus with first-class shadows!

I have made some proof and I have to say that the artistic rendering lines and shadows of renderworks is roundabout because it allows you to customize both the color and thickness of the lines that the color of the shadows!! I'm ecstatic!

I did some tests and using point light (is solar??) and asking to make rendering in opengl you do not see a bat ...... the other rendering methods all right.

Well done epasinet!

Now you just have to move from the demo to the regular version
Also because I don't think that with the demo (which doesn't record) you can all do jobs, right?

Someone can explain to me this kind of result on an open gl rendering?
Is it because of the textures? I thought it might depend on the light and I turned it off but nothing changed. I also tried various settings from open gl rendering settings but also there nothing changed on the result. Where am I wrong?

other peculiarities.... in this file (and I only emphasize in this) when I call the open gl rendering from any view automatically puts me on above as you can see from the image.

I used the same procedure to obtain the same result.
in model 3d the effect is optimal, then when I create a viewport and insert it in the glossy presentation (scale 1:100), the quality of the rendering is very poor. the image is blurred in the definition: lines are not well defined and shadows appear serrated.

Is there a way to solve this problem?
I don't know him, so I just have to ask for help.

check the resolution (dpi) of the glossy presentation. for quality results must be at least 300, better if 600

Thank you so much!
I solved. was just what you said, I didn't set the resolution properly. I brought it to 600 and now the result is more than optimal.
