They have always explained to me that putting in contact the bronze with the light alloy, in the presence of sea water, is wrong.
it creates a strong galvanic corrosion and aluminum thrives.
Recently I have seen that some mount bronze bushings directly in the aluminium solids that support axes of handling hangers.
Moreover my supplier tells me that using a bronze aluminum the problem of galvanic corrosion (with light alloy) disappears or is reduced.
do you have professional experience in this matter?
