Good evening to all,
are looking for a program for managing all contacts regarding customers and suppliers.
My field is the mechanical carpentry but I think that every artisan company could have the same requirements as regards contact management, whether they are customers or suppliers.
in my specific case I need to save a card for each customer or potential customer, with a note to remember even at a distance of time what we had communicated to us.
the same thing I would like to do with the suppliers, as we have a dense network of suppliers and everything is entrusted to the memory of the staff in the office.
I would like to create a database that allows me to find a supplier's card by searching for the name or category of goods in question.
this allows an effective sharing of business knowledge within the entire staff and allows a greater speed in the search of old suppliers or old customers.
We mainly use linux in the office, but I evaluate systems for windows and linux independently and prefer solutions that work on both.
How do you manage?
