How do I download the demo version of solidworks for win7?

I saw that on the official website they put the link but then the page refers to a kind of request to do and that they can only make students or people enrolled at a school that does the course.

I would like to learn it from self-taught and I would also have some urgency.
I have seen that the first meeting with the company can take place in one of their free seminars on September 7 but for me it is a little too late, I should start immediately.

Can anyone help me?

there are no demo versions for solidworks, if you are interested in the software you have to contact an authorized dealer and then with him you will be able to agree the purchase after trial period of 30 days.
since 2010 sp 0.0 swx is certified for win 7 even if it already worked well with 2008.

just to understand. . .
Do the demo only give me if I guarantee the purchase at the end of 30 days of trial?
And what proof is it? so much worth buying it now

right to understand..
"What title" would you like to try the program?
as a free professional or as an employee designer (or in view of a future hire as such) of company that uses it or who would like to buy it?

I would like first of all to learn, at least a little bit, to use the software to make my evaluations on actual productivity compared to other software I use and then decide to buy it if it was really better than competition.

I am hired in a company that already has the license for solidworks but I am not using it.
If I increase my productivity, I could also point to level up.
at the moment I use autocad and rhinoceros (obviously not for the same job as those who use solidworks in firm).

I could also be a future software buyer, not now, but in the next few years, because I wouldn't mind being able to put myself in your own day.

certainly there is that the company would never buy me a license before even having the certainty that I can use the software quickly and productively.
I'm sure they're not willing to pay me a course.
Of course there is that I am not going to buy solidworks just to have a demo to learn. for the fact that solidworks costs a lot (although I don't know how much I can imagine) and why then I wouldn't do anything about my license at home when the software should use it in the office.

in particular I am hired in a company that already has the license for solidworks .
if it is in the interests of the company you can ask that you install on your pc (portable or at home) the program "providedly for educational purposes". you can use it freely for 30 days without triggering the license. or, if you do not already have it in use, you can activate the second "mobile" license and work on it when the primary is not in use (typically in the evening hours when the offices are "spenti").

if it is for your personal training, from private, yes official courses are expensive and not at the reach of anyone (unemployed, students etc.). However, occasionally the regions/provinces teach courses almost entirely subsidized at the private schools contracted. . You should know that.

I think that one way or another I can find a solution. I thought I'd ask my colleague to use him to give me a few tips on the main commands and I'll try to get out of his computer when he's out of his seat.
I didn't want to ask the company because I would like to go alone to "learned" software, we say it's my thing; They would tell me immediately "but why?", "What do you need?", "you work on autocad," etc...

However, the sense of my disappointment is that I don't understand why they make so many difficulties in releasing demo licenses as many other competitors or software manufacturers do.
with a demo you learn and more people know the program, more people can buy it.
Are they afraid of illegal copies? But why, are the demos that cause the black market?

all direct competitors of swx behave + or - so. after 30 days you don't have to buy it, we'd miss it.
to learn it well in lost time takes a lot in more than 30 days and what proof would it be? They should give you a normal license.
are software that you can afford offices/businesses that use them to work and students who can have the student at a political price.
If you don't fit into these categories... I see it hard.
