in the last issue of a magazine in the defense sector, there is a large article on the 2012 German aviation show. inside we talk about a futuristic (but not so much since we talk about 2035) project for a civil aircraft for regional routes from 190 places, the "ce-liner". innovation is in the propulsion and form of the "c" wing. the propulsion would be entrusted to electric motors with intubated propellers placed in the tail and fuel batteries would find housing in a "container" placed under the cabin easily replaceable. the weight of the batteries would be compensated by the use of materials that allow lightening of the structures. wings should no longer sustain the weight of engines and fuel. the project is of the bauhaus luftfahrt and provides an autonomy of 1500 km thanks to the 130kn engines of thrust generated by two pods with fans intubated moves from electric motors to superconductors.
the most unusual thing is the wings to "c". continuing to read the article, it would be a normal arrow wings with a kind of wide winglet at the ends that stretch horizontally towards the fuselage. the last stretch of this wing would be very backward and would help to increase the portanza while maintaining a very contained wings so as to allow it to take off and landing even in modest airports. taxes on pollutants and chemical and sound emissions would be eliminated.
