Hello, I'm at the reception of a free cad 3d to try. I would look for something that at least looks like inventor or sw that does not have deadlines with the possibility of importing 2d models and which manages axioms with a discreet number of components (type one fifty) and maybe parametric and that it also had the possibility of making cinematisms...(maybe it is a little too much for a free).
I currently use a 2005 2d autocad and my need is to make carpentry assemblies or relatively simple wine machinery and, before getting a license from the above mentioned programs, I would like to try a 3d approach with something free.
reading here and in the forums of the site I have seen good comments regarding alibre design express or google sketchup but do not convince me completely.
Is there anything better around? I am ready to all your advice!
Thank you.

of free with the features you look for there is nothing around... if you want there are demos but with the limitations of the case, some with the possibility to work with few components together and others even if complete I do not allow you to save the works.

swx has the possibility to download a student license (can not be used for commercial work) but if you need to see how the program works I think it is okay. also solid edge has this possibility from this year with the st4 to download a student version. I also downloaded it if I am not a student (on the recording notes I indicated that I am not a student and that I downloaded it for home evaluation and did not have problems).

alibre design even if I do not use it I can say first-attention that for what you have to do (relatively simple enologic machines...) go more than well. google sketchup doesn't suit you.

I imagined that a free could not have all these things...however I have the curiosity to try someone to see that air pulls.
would you tell me the exact name of the latest free alibre version and a reliable link from which to download?
Thank you.

Does anyone know 123d autodesk?
is it really free? Does it work? comments?

p.s.
there is an impressive amount of threads that speak/try free products. I reexhumed the most recent that it did not polarize on a given product. I wonder how you could reorganize these threads a little... I try to mix them all together is not well...

I downloaded it and installed it on the tablet to try it, but I didn't "play" anymore. look at youtube find several videos of this software.

ps: you are free
