Good morning to all,
I have just been hired in a startup and I do business design and management. I find myself having to choose the cad, after in my career I decreed solidworks the best of all. the company will need to design so much piping, and initially the design will be external. then you will enter the company initially the only piping.
the company, very serious, had already done analysis, also aimed at the initial savings, and had identified a solution that previews briscad and hexapro, with the idea to start drawing only the piping and possibly some small project with briscad 3d (which is autocad 3d in the substance). this for the initial phase, then it is planned to form a true ut with also a cad "grosso" solidworks or inventor.
On the other hand, I know that in solidworks, a program I feel expert on, has the piping and p&id module, but I have never designed piping or used the solidworks module.
I kindly ask this beautiful community an opinion about it, both how cad piping and p&id work, whether on which software you would choose or have chosen. considering that in any case the company does not want to "sprinkle" but to do the "just initial investment".
